Energy Bites

Taste these delicious, nutrient-packed energy balls which are prepared in bite size portions! These protein filled treats will give you the energy boost you need and make a great on-the-go snack.

​

1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 cups old fashioned oats 
1/2 cup chopped nuts 
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Roll into balls and freeze

Salmon and Zoodles

Enjoy a light lunch or dinner which is filling, nutritious, and delicous. Add some roasted sweet potato for a full and balanced meal. Change it up by adding a different seasoning to the zoodles!

Salmon: 
Salmon fillet
Salt
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Season salmon and cook on 375 for 25 minutes

Zoodles:

2 zucchini, spiralized

1 onion, diced

3 cloves garlic

1/2 tablespoon salt

Black Pepper

Saute zoodles with onion, garlic, and seasoning

Greek Yogurt Power Bowl

This refreshing nutrient-infused breakfast or snack has it all: fiber-rich whole grains, antioxidative berries, vitamin-rich bananas, light protein and healthy fat.  Switch up the fruit to keep this breakfast exciting and in-season.

Greek yogurt 2% fat, plain
1/2-1 tbs maple syrup
Sliced strawberries
Blueberries
1/2 sliced banana
Peanut butter granola
Sprinkle of cinnamon, optional
